Avistelé Emphasis on Community
The cornerstone of Avistelé rests on the redemptive power of wholesome, uplifting Communities. This ideal starts with rehabilitating and properly maintaining the buildings, grounds and infrastructure of the Community. It then quickly extends into providing the amenities and services that allow our Members to enjoy the good life and more free time. The third and most profound of our offerings includes our many community programs, which allow Members to interact with one another and form lasting relationships.
The health of our Community can be gauged by many of its outward characteristics, such as a clean, well-manicured landscape. It can also be felt when you see neighbors talking to and respecting one another and when there is a wide proliferation of group activities, such as book clubs, game nights, progressive dinners, religious study groups, and movie-watching groups. We see these Members becoming better neighbors and, often, good friends.
When the fundamental needs of belonging, living a quality life and experiencing community are fulfilled, we see our Members putting down roots and reconnecting with their larger community: sharing their passions, their spirituality, and their citizenship within an ever-larger network of people and organizations.
We think that outcome can change our world very much for the better, and that the world needs changing in exactly this way. At Avistelé, we are accomplishing that goal, one relationship at a time, and one Community at a time.
